Hola amigos!
I have earned and spent my money on the people I loved; finally sported a new hairstyle; indulged in fulfilling all my fantasies; tried out different personality types to find my correct size; flirted with the idea of settling down with someone for good; grown professionally and earned appreciation for it; and of course met loads of new people and exchanged a host of new ideas with them!
And for me that was the highlight of the year coz my friends are my life :) There have been many fun trips exploring new exotic destinations in Maharashtra with my fabulous colleagues who are more friends than team-mates.. we got drenched in the gigantic water column at Pandavkada, checked out waterfalls falling on the highway in Malshej and visited the birth place of Shivaji Maharaj.
Haven't shared my thoughts with the world since a while now and what better day to do so than the beginning of the new year :)
First of all lemme wish everyone a very Happy New Year 2011! Hope you all have sobered down from the effects of all intoxicating agents consumed the previous nite and have settled comfortably in the lap of d first evening of d first year of d second decade of d 21st century!! ;) :P
As I sat pondering about the year that was, I realized I've come a long way from the person I was just a year before.. I remember my last year's New year celebration which was spent with someone I thought was special at that time.. The cozy dinner and drinks at a Goan cafe in South Mumbai all helped to enhance the feeling further.. how naive I was to believe it meant something more than a casual fling :P
I have grown so much in the past year (grown mentally NOT physically u morons!!). So much so that I cant even recognize the person I was one year back.. Travel of course was a big part of the year with me covering the remote parts of Rajasthan for work and making the most of Marwari hospitality..
I have spent quality time with th family visiting quaint tranquil Himalayan getaways :)

All the wonderful people I met helped me discover so many new things about myself and uncover new facets of my personality.. Some of you have already moved on from my life and I may never see you again.. but the effect you have had on my life and the part you have played in shaping it will ALWAYS remain with me :)

Through all of you I came to recognize the direction my life is supposed to take.. And the one who entered my life towards the fag end of the year, u are the one I owe my gratefulness to the most.. it's bcoz of u teachin me what I needed to learn that I'm a completely changed person now and m at peace wid the world..
