Legend of Prince Rama

Wielded Brahma's wrathful weapon flaming with fire,

The weapon that Agastya had unto the hero given,

Winged as lightening dart of Indra, the fatal bolt of heaven,

Wrapped in smoke and flaming flashes, speeding from the bow,

Pierced the nectarian navel of Ravan, laid the demon low,

Voice of blessings from the sky fell on Raghu's valiant son,

'Champion of the True and Righteous, thy noble task is done!'
